Here’s a bit of the press release: Death Angel’s 1987 debut album ‘The Ultra Violence’ sold 40,000 copies in its first 4 monthsn paving the way for the thrash movement to hit the mainstream in a way that opened the floodgates for an entire genre to rise to the top of the musical food chain for the remainder of the decade.

Armored Saint are back in top form once more with the return of one of metal’s most dynamic vocalists, John Bush after his time away fronting Anthrax. With John at the helm and the legendary bassist Joey Vera by his side, its a very good time to be a fan of The Saint!

In 2009 both bands will head to Australia for the very first time in either of their careers to play for their fans across the entire nation! With both bands crossing the generational gap, this tour will see metal fans young an old come out to experience a night of thrash just like it was 1985!!
