NEWS: I Heart Guitar on Twitter

I’m still messing around with it, but I recently set up an I Heart Guitar account on Twitter. I’ve been reading some articles on how to best utilise Twitter with blogging (here’s a good one for you bloggers: http://blog.guykawasaki.com/2008/12/how-to-use-twit.html) and hopefully I can figure out how to make it all work. Bear with me as I no doubt make dumbass mistakes for a few days.

    hey petie

added you on twitter and noticed you’re tweeting every single blog post. a tweet for every post is probably a bit excessive for someone who updates as frequently as you do because it basically turns your twitter acount into a duplicate of your RSS feed.. which isn’t really how people use it.

pretty much all the guys i follow are using twitter for big announcements, cool links to things they’ve seen on other sites, responses to what other people are saying on twitter, random asides that are too brief for a blog post and so on.

that’s just my 2 cents on the service, heed or ignore as you wish :)
