Eastwood introduces the Limited Edition 50th Anniversary Airline® ’59 Custom
May 15, 2009
To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Airline brand, Eastwood® Guitars has released 50 limited edition Metallic Gold Airline ’59 Custom 2P guitars. These individually numbered collector edition models ship in the Deluxe Airline form-fit hardshell case and include a certificate of authenticity personally signed by the founder of Eastwood Guitars, Mike Robinson.

The Gold Airline 2P features a unique rubber binding that surrounds the tone chambered mahogany body. The vintage style of the pinstriped pickguard along and the chrome tone switch are tributes to the original 1959 models. With two ALNICO Hot-10 pickups, vintage tuners and the classic 25½ scale this guitar is guaranteed to turn heads. You can also customize this guitar through Eastwood’s custom shop, with a pair of Airline Vintage Voice Single Coil pickups and a Bigsby Tremolo to make it your own.

“The Airline models are the flagship brand of Eastwood” said Mike Robinson “and we are really excited to celebrate 50 years of guitar history with this stunning limited edition Metallic Gold model”.
