I'm doing something similar – bringing the family over for 2 weeks (from Norway) – staying the first week down by Venice Beach, and then a hotel (family suite) in Anaheim the last week. My first time ever in the US. Excited like a kid :) If you wear a "I heart guitar" t-shirt or something, I'll say hello if I see you :)
