larry dimarzio stole the double white gibson paf patent when it expired. he made a career out of being a thief. stealing the double white humbucking pickup and calling it his own. making millions in the process.its criminal what dimarzio has done.that double white is gibsons pickup. yngwie deserves to be treated liked royalty. he is one of the best ever. obviously larry dimarzio did something that bothered yngwie.

YJM and HS3 are the best fender single coil replacements I have used. You can run them into traditional amps and get a great sound but they run quiet enough to run into high gain beast amps and still pull a great tone. VERY versatile pickups.

I'm not sure why. On a few forums where this post is being discussed, some people are suggesting Yngwie has gone with Fender for pickups. I think that's a huge shame, as Yngwie has been so closely aligned with DiMarzio for so many years. As I said in the post, I'm glad they're still making the pickups because regardless of the Yngwie connection I've always heard amazing things about the YJM from those who use them.
