Those pups were not happening for me. I called DiMarzio, They allowed me to return them after 4 months!!! I sent the a check for $20 and they sent me the Area J Pups... I was hell bent on going with single coils, but for $20 I figured I would take the chance on the Area J. I sure am glad I did.. It's got J bass "throaty" sound that is true to the Vintage J. In Fact I put on a set of Tomastik Power Bass strings and i am ready for any pro situation that comes my way. Also these pup are dead quiet!! All the Time! Thanks DiMarzio.
