Ooh, have they approved the Fender John Mayer Relic strat production model? Fender Custom Shop just tweeted this picture, assumedly from Eric Clapton’s Crossroads guitar festival. That’s John Mayer’s signature, and that certainly looks like a relic’d neck. It’s no secret that Mayer and Fender have been working on an official reproduction of his relic Strat: last year Mayer tweeted this image below of a prototype next to the real deal.

Can’t wait to get my hands on one of these!
