Whoa! MusicRadar and Total Guitar have a heck of a scoop: Fender is releasing a Kurt Cobain signature Jaguar to commemorate 20 years since the release of Nevermind. The guitar is just like the 1965 Jag that Kurt used, and is authentically tricked out with DiMarzio PAF and Super Distortion humbuckers, a second volume control, black three-position toggle switch and a chrome Gotoh bridge. It has a Strat-sized headstock and a non-period-correct ‘spaghetti’ logo. It’ll be available in both lefty and righty models.
Check out Music Radar for more info, and look for the full story in issue 220 of Total Guitar magazine, out on October 3. I know, I know, October 3 is still over a month away. Put a reminder in your phone!
