The Taylor Project – progress report

Hey! So my Taylor SolidBody has begun its journey from disparate bits of wood and metal into becoming an actual guitar! The guitar has been shaped and painted, and the pickup/electronics cavity has been routed. Next up: gloss, neck pocketing, electronics, etc., etc. And before long it’ll look like this!

But for now, it looks like this.

  • Looks great looking forward for dealers in the netherlands.
And ofcours what will be the price.

  • Ben says:

Is there going to be a series of proper build threads on this one? Seems like a wasted opportunity not to get the maximum play out of it. I suppose there’s all likelihood they don’t want their entire build process publicly documented, though.

Swimming pool route?? Wasn’t expecting that from Taylor..

  • Peter Hodgson says:

That’s because they offer interchangeable pick guards with different pickup sizes/configurations. This rout accommodates all possibilities.
