Everything’s better when it’s paisley

Whoa! Check out this Fender Factory Special Run Black Paisley Telecaster. I think I kinda really need this.

From Fender.com:

“We’ve taken our Standard series Telecaster and swathed it in swirling black paisley for a captivating new look that is both darkly alluring and elegantly psychedelic. Equally captivating are the sound, feel and performance, with two singing single-coil pickups, comfortable modern C-shaped maple neck with a 9.5” radius and 21 medium jumbo frets, and a six-saddle string-through-body bridge for ringing sustain and solid intonation stability.”

just saw this post this morning , and actually came across one of these today in a local shop!
    $599 , ‘hecho en mexico’
played nice, the neck had a satin finish, the body finish was fabulous…looked better in person than the pic!
But the electronics left me flat… dang!

    They’re already in stores? Cool!

If I get one (a very big IF at the moment) I’d upgrade the electronics pretty quickly anyway just cos changing pickups is fun. :)
