PHOTO SPECIAL: Nightwish

This week I had the pleasure of seeing Nightwish on their Imaginarum tour (read my interview with Tuomas Holopainen here). Vocalist Annette Olzon recently departed the band, and the incredibly talented Floor Jansen is handling vocals for this tour. Many – scratch that, all – fans are calling for Floor to be appointed full-time singer, and that would be amazing. She’s seriously the best live singer I’ve ever heard.

Here are some pics I took on the night. Hope you dig ‘em! And check out my Steel Panther photo special.

Floor. Hearing her voice coming direct off the stage was an incredible experience akin to driving on Rainbow Road in Mario Kart but for real.
