Universal Audio has released official ENGL amplifier plug-ins for the UAD Powered Plug-Ins platform and Apollo Audio Interface, featuring ENGL’s E765 RT and E646 VS amps. along with a few selected rack effects, cabinets and mics. These emulations give you EL34 and 6L6-based amps and if they’re anything like real ENGLs – which I’m sure they are or ENGL wouldn’t put their name on them – they’re gonna cover a lot of ground and will sound plenty fat while doing so. North Hollywood, CA, May 2, 2011 – German-engineered ENGL Guitar Amplifiers now have a home base in North Hollywood, CA. The company has announced the opening of a new showroom that will enable players to see, hear, try and feel these boutique amplifiers in a comfortable, hassle-free environment.
The new facility, conveniently located within the Third Encore complex at 10917 Vanowen Street, offers players the opportunity to really dig into the amps without the fear of disturbing others, or being disturbed.
