SUMMER NAMM: New Ibanez models

Here’s the line-up of new guitars from Ibanez at Summer NAMM. A lot of these have been available in other markets, and most amount to new colours for existing models, but people are always asking for more Ibanez colour options so that’s a good thing!

SUMMER NAMM: Lefthanded Ibanez models

Here’s a win for lefties everywhere: Ibanez is finally offering lefthanded versions of some of their most popular guitars, including the Jem7VWH and JS1200. A Jemsite user found these pics at Ikebe-Gakki. Here are the pages for the Jem and the JS. There are rumours floating about the internet of a lefthanded UV777BK as well.

July 16 edit for clarity (hi cosmic ape at Vai.com!): Here’s the Jemsite thread in the Jem/Universe section: http://www.jemsite.com/forums/f15/wow-lefty-jem-and-js-92272.html

I write for Gibson.com, Australian Guitar, Australian Musician, Mixdown Magazine (including my instructional column, 'Unleash Your Inner Rock God,' which has been running since 2007), BluntBeat (including their weekly hard rock/metal column Crunch) and The Brag. And I'm Assistant Social Coordinator with Seymour Duncan. I've been playing guitar since I was 8 years old, and I've been writing for magazines since I was 18. I've also worked as a guitar teacher (up to 50 students a week), a setup tech, a newspaper editor, and I've also dabbled in radio a little bit. I live in Melbourne, Australia, and my hobbies include drinking way too much coffee, and eating way too much Mexican food.
