NEW GEAR DAY: Jim Dunlop Buddy Guy wah

Woohoo! My new wah just arrived! My busted old Crybaby must now make room for my shiny new Jim Dunlop Buddy Guy wah. I reviewed one of these a while back (read that review here) and was impressed enough to put one on my wishlist. Well here it is!

NEW GEAR DAY: Ibanez Paul Gilbert AF2 Airplane Flanger

Why hello there, Mr Postman. What ya bring today?
Time to chuck it on the pedalboard and see how it looks with its new family.

Review and video coming soon!

I bought my Airplane Flanger from TunnelVision Music for $149. It took a week to get here to Australia from the US and now I can stop having USPS.com as my home page.

IMPENDING NEW GEAR DAY: Ibanez AF2 Airplane Flanger

Woohoo, I did it! I decided to buy myself a little late birthday present and ordered myself an Ibanez AF2 Airplane Flanger, the new Paul Gilbert model I wrote about last week. It should arrive next week and I’ll try to get a review done as soon as possible after then. A few weeks ago Ibanez posted some great samples of Paul Gilbert demonstrating his favourite settings. You can check that out here. Until I heard those samples I was probably going to go with the MXR flanger or wait for the forthcoming A/DA flanger reissue but the AF2 just sounded way too cool.
